Porcelain Jewelry Plastic in the Tasks of the Art Ceramics Department of the Siberian State Academy of Arts
Abstract
The main part of the article is devoted to the peculiarities of conducting tasks for creating jewelry plastics in the framework of the discipline «Design» at the Department of «Art ceramics». A small excursion into history introduces the reader to the origins of this task: the creative workshops of the Department. Plastic jewelry as «art-object» the main direction of creative search, main stages in the work on the subject, from rapid sketches to full implementation of the project in the material, Tradition and innovation in theme development. The example of a set of jewelry is a detailed study of the construction of a multi-part, multi-part composition, with all its features and difficulties. There are presented main trends in jewelry and porcelain jewelry.
