Abstract

This article talks about the application of K. Orff's method in preschool pedagogy. It shows the main goals and objectives, the relevance of the method in modern pedagogy of early childhood development. In the introduction, the author highlights the main problems faced by modern higher music education, and also offers to refer to the method of K. Orff in raising children as a future audience. In the main part, the author gives a theoretical description of Orff-Schulwerk as a methodological system, then tries to determine the significance of musical development for the child not only in the narrow (development of rhythm, hearing), but also in the broad sense (development of speech, imagination, aesthetic taste). The author focuses on the influence of the Orff method on the physical development of children, the development of speech and writing, helps to learn and train time orientation. The author also describes the relationship of musical education with the mental processes of the human brain (trains and develops attention, observation, intelligence, memory) and emphasizes that classes using the Orff method most fully contribute to the development of children's musical sensitivity.
